International Return & Exchange Policy
At Sierra Trading Post, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Prior to use, please make every effort to inspect items for fit, color, missing pieces or damage. If an item arrives damaged, notify our customer service right away. We will make it right! Learn more about us.
Holiday Policy: To better serve our customers, we have extended our return policy for the holiday season. Purchases made between October 14, 2018 and December 25, 2018 may be returned through January 23, 2019. Our standard return policy will apply to all purchases made beginning December 26, 2018.
Standard Policy: To receive a refund or exchange, items must be returned in original condition within 40 days of your order date when purchased online (including items shipped to a store) or 30 days if purchased in store. Original condition means the item is not washed, worn (aside from trying it on), damaged or altered and returned with all hangtags and original packaging where possible. Any item not meeting the condition standards of this policy will be returned at the customer’s expense.
Returns received outside the returns timeframe may qualify for a merchandise credit. This credit is redeemable online or in store at any Sierra Trading Post location.
To Request an Exchange, Replacement or Return

Use the shipping method of your choice – we recommend you use a service that offers tracking -- and send the item back to us with a copy of your invoice you received with the item you are returning. To expedite the process, always provide your customer number or order number.
If you have misplaced the invoice, please include a note with your full billing address, order number or customer number so that we can issue a reimbursement or exchange.

Quantities can be very limited due to the nature of the overstock, 2nds and closeouts business. We recommend you order the item you want to exchange now instead of waiting for your return to be processed to best ensure you get the item you want. Waiting until your return processes is not recommended
All international exchange orders will be charged a shipping fee consistent with the order amount being exchanged. The customer is responsible for all extra delivery charges, Duties, Taxes, Customs Fees, VAT and any other fees that may be required when returning or exchanging products. Sierra Trading Post order totals for exchanges do not include additional fees associated with international orders.
To be eligible for return, the item must meet our return policy timeframe and condition guidelines. Refunds satisfying our return policy guidelines will reconcile to the original method of payment.
To ensure the best service with your returns or exchanges, please:
- • Include a copy of the invoice and either a customer number or order number
- • Clean any garments and repack items in sturdy packaging
- • Use a shipping service of your choice that tracks your item (recommended)
- • Please include a note to indicate your reason for return or exchange
