Let me start by saying I am 4"11 and weight 110lbs. This bag is a perfect size for a day hike/bike ride. Have lots of space and fits perfect. • Great pack for those of smaller stature

I'm 5'1", and I purchased this pack based on reviews that said it was good for more petite frames. I was not disappointed. I felt hopeful after trying it on the first time, and after wearing it on a ten-mile walk, I love it.

Unlike other daypacks, this one doesn't hit my arms as I swing them back while I walk, the straps don't cut into my armpits, the bottom doesn't chafe my lower back, and my upper back and shoulders don't ache after wearing it, even after several hours. After ten miles, I felt like I could go ten more (well, at least five more).

This is my first pack with a hydration bladder, so I can't compare that feature, but it worked well for me, didn't leak, and I was able to drink plenty of water without stopping every mile or two to take off my pack and retrieve my water bottle.

It has a very small amount of storage space, which is fine for me now but might be less fine as the weather gets cool enough that I want to stow another layer, and I could use a spot on/near the straps to put my phone. Other than that, this pack is just what I hoped it would be.
  • Nice pack!

I really like this pack. The size of the pack is perfect for a small frame. I am 5'1" and it fits very well and is super comfortable. I like that it holds 3L of water and still has a lot of storage space without being bulky. The only thing I wish it had was a side pocket for easy access to my phone.

Great deal for this woman specific hydration backpack. Lots of pockets and really good insulation for the water bladder (included). Keeps water really cold. Easy to clean. Have taken it on a couple rides so far. Comfortable even when filled with water. Love it!
  • Great hydration pack

I purchased this for my 2 teenage daughters and myself. They fit great and served the purpose well while we were hiking in Utah and Arizona. Easy to fill with water and easy to drink while hiking. I only wish the compartment for all the other hiking gear was somewhat larger. 7 liter capacity does not permit taking all the necessaries with hiker. All in all great pack. May buy a larger back pack and use this water container with it.
  • Nice

About CamelBak

The story behind CamelBak hydration packs started back in 1988 when a guy named Michael Eidson was preparing for the “Hotter’N Hell 100,” a 100-mile summer cycling race in Wichita Falls. Before the event, Michael (an EMT by trade) filled an IV bag with water and stashed it in the back of his jersey. With the tube slung over his shoulder and a clothespin to pinch it closed in between drinks, Michael had unknowingly created the prototype for what would become the CamelBak hydration system. Fast forward more than 25 years, and CamelBak is now the world’s leading hydration pack company, with more than 80 different products, including reservoirs, backpacks, hip packs, CamelBak water bottles, travel mugs and more.
