  • “The ski in the picture clearly shows this ski has an NIS plate built into the ski. Either you got a previous answer wrong, or you are dispaying the wrong picture. This confusion is likely the reason these skis have sat in your warehouse for two years now. If you would post the correct information (I have purchased over 15 thousand dollars worth of Nordic equipment from you) they would move. Please please post the following: the recommended weight range for each length of ski, what type of binding is compatible with the ski (if it has a NIS plate integrted with the ski then it requires a compatible NIS binding or must be adapted to use with another binding. ”

    • This ski will probably work well for your purposes.

  • “I am trying to figure out which set of bindings would work. I want a NNN and I am looking at the following Item #2825A|Rottefella BC3 NNN BC Nordic Ski Bindings and wondering if they are compatible with this ski. Thanks”
Asked by Stacy from maine on 1/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
    • The bindings are compatible with this ski. But they are "BC" NNN bindings which are not compatible with NNN boots. If you are wanting a NNN binding I suggest choosing Item #83818 or Item #3685T.

    • You can mount any Nordic binding on this ski. NNN3, NNN-BC, Salomon Profil, and Salomon Pilot are the standard binding systems. Various manufacturers make bindings that match these "norms" and all except those that state they require a special NIS base or adapter plate will work. Find the boot you like best and then purchase the binding compatible with that boot.
