Verified Buyer Reviewed by Judi V from Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday, June 27, 2017I love my new yoga mat! It provides great traction, stays put and looks fantastic. Also rolls with zippo bulk - great deal.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by sami of the north from Skagit County, WA on Friday, May 12, 2017Was looking for a mat that had a rough surface because my hands and feet had been slipping on my previous mat. This fills the bill perfectly.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by mimsy176 from Monrovia, CA. on Thursday, May 4, 2017This has the nicest look - and its not slippery so will work well for exercise. Bought it for my son to do exercises on not yoga but could easily picture it working well for that. Its a cool color and excellent texture. I think its a very good bargain.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by CO guy from Colorado on Monday, May 23, 2016This mat is thick and very grippy. Exactly what I was looking for and works great.
Reviewed by arb123 from New York on Saturday, May 7, 2016Bought this to replace another jute/PER mat that I've loved but is finally falling apart. I've been doing yoga for over a decade, and have never encountered a mat that smells like this. I've heard Manduka mats smell from the natural rubber, but this thing is made of PER! The smell is of chemicals-- like some sort of off-gassing adhesive. Verdict is out on the texture, as while the jute is nice and firm, the PER itself is far slipperier than my previous mat. Regardless, I am returning it because whatever that smell is does not seem like a healthy thing to be rubbing up against on a daily basis. I could unroll it and let it air for a few days, but I'd rather a mat that doesn't start out smelling like chemicals in the first place.
