This jacket is advertised as black and red. The black is more of a very dark grey than pure black.
For sizing I vary between small and medium dependant on brand and style. I am glad I ordered a medium in this jacket.

I love the look and the general feel of this jacket. It's just a bit too small to fit layers underneath. I am going to keep it because I love the look and utility of it, just wish it was a bit bigger or perhaps that I was a bit smaller! Guess I better get outside and use it to make it fit more perfectly!

This a fantastic jacket made by Mammut. Sizing is perfect, very well made. Hood can fit a bike or ski helmet. Great colour and design. Used it for skiing the other weekend and was just wearing a thermal and a wool jumper underneath and it was perfect I was nice and cosy. Zip under armpits are great too when excercising like bike ridding.

About Mammut

Mammut is a Swiss-based producer of high-quality mountaineering, climbing and trekking equipment. The company’s history actually dates back to the mid-1800’s, beginning with a single rope maker named Kaspar Tanner. By the 1940’s, the brand had officially adopted the mammoth logo and name. Originally specializing in Mammut ropes, the well-known alpine gear company eventually grew its product line to include mountaineering boots, crampons, harnesses and hardware. By the 1990’s, the product selection had grown even further to include Mammut jackets, pants, sleeping bags, Mammut packs and a host of other premium-quality essentials for the outdoor enthusiast.
