5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect light for night running

This is a great light headlamp. I use it almost every day during the winter for running and skiing on the local trails. I like the diffuse light, not a single bright beam. It is easy to turn on/off with big winter gloves.

Almost worthless even at the sale price. Very poorly designed and made. Battery case cover does not close firmly. Only good to use in home or driveway. Not to be trusted on the trail or elsewhere.

Great product. I ordered another one after I used the first one on a trip. There is a tiny lever you slide down to block the switch which turns it on, which could save your bumm on a backpacking trip, so it doesn't turn on in your pack. Different light powers are perfect, low is great for reading, bright is very bright, and the illumination is unreal ; it is a spot light with a nice mellow distinct halo lit up around the spot. Easy tilt and very light. I feel like buying 10 so I can use this light until I'm an old man.

About Mammut

Mammut is a Swiss-based producer of high-quality mountaineering, climbing and trekking equipment. The company’s history actually dates back to the mid-1800’s, beginning with a single rope maker named Kaspar Tanner. By the 1940’s, the brand had officially adopted the mammoth logo and name. Originally specializing in Mammut ropes, the well-known alpine gear company eventually grew its product line to include mountaineering boots, crampons, harnesses and hardware. By the 1990’s, the product selection had grown even further to include Mammut jackets, pants, sleeping bags, Mammut packs and a host of other premium-quality essentials for the outdoor enthusiast.
