Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by KlamathCrawler from Humboldt, CA on Friday, August 31, 2012For six months out of the year I am consistently outdoors doing field work in remote areas traversing extremely rugged terrain. Almost every year I need to purchase a new pair of boots because the traction has worn down and the waterproof quality is no longer good. Both of those things are essential for me to do my job comfortably. With these factors in mind, I looked for a boot that I thought would stand up to the job. I have an older pair of boots by the same company, and their waterproof quality has lasted as well as their traction, so I was eager to try this brand in another model of boot. It is not the rainy season yet, so the jury is still out on the waterproof quality, but the extreme rubber bumper and rubber toe cover give me faith that they will withstand the wet weather. The ankle support and traction are superior and I feel very confident wearing these boots and placing my feet in precarious positions (on wet boulders, piles of woody debris etc.). Comfortable also!
- Best Uses: Hiking Through Brush, Scurrying Over Logs, Stream crossing, Traversing Rugged Terrain
- Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great traction, Sturdy, Superior Ankle Protection
