Love this headlamp for trailrunning. Others I've had took much more expensive, and hard to find batteries. Also others did not allow me to have all of the bulbs on at once. Great choices of lighting to preserve batteries or light up the woods!

Reviewed by Rob the tree guy from Michigan on Thursday, March 13, 2014Title says it all. Really was looking forward to getting this. I was shocked at the flimsiness of the product, and cheap plastic. The buttons were difficult to turn on/off and change the light pattern. I sent it back for the princeton one from STP, love it! STP made it very easy to return and credit my account, every since then, I've recommended this site to everyone.

Reviewed by Erik from Minnesota on Wednesday, December 4, 2013This is by far the brightest headlamp I've ever owned. The switch requires a fairly precise touch to operate, which may be tricky with thick gloves. I'll use this for nighttime nordic skiing, and am sure that this will throw ample light for the fastest downhills I encounter.

Reviewed by Ray, the outdoors man. from Issaquah, WA on Friday, November 8, 2013I've used headlamps for 30 years and this is the most versatile unit I've ever had. Perfect for walking the dog unobtrusively on low power and seeing a mile down the road on the high setting. Battery pack is a little heavy and bulky, but it has 3 aa batteries in it...what would you think? I use another lighter headlamp , with one switch on/off for working around my shop.
