I really like this piece. I like the close fit, it's great for layering under any jacket. It has fleece where it needs to be warmer and stretchy breathable material everywhere else. It's comfortable and easy to move around in. I like the thumbhole feature and there's even a little breast pocket (which is big enough as long as you don't want to carry more than some money and your ID). So far I've only used it for back country skiing, but I think it will be good for hiking and biking in the fall and spring. I really like the turquoise color too.

This top in a size small fit perfectly. I am 5'4", 118 pounds, athletic build. It is loose enough that you can fit a layer underneath, but also slim through the torso. The length hits at mid/low hip. The hood actually fits! It is very flattering too.

About Mammut

Mammut is a Swiss-based producer of high-quality mountaineering, climbing and trekking equipment. The company’s history actually dates back to the mid-1800’s, beginning with a single rope maker named Kaspar Tanner. By the 1940’s, the brand had officially adopted the mammoth logo and name. Originally specializing in Mammut ropes, the well-known alpine gear company eventually grew its product line to include mountaineering boots, crampons, harnesses and hardware. By the 1990’s, the product selection had grown even further to include Mammut jackets, pants, sleeping bags, Mammut packs and a host of other premium-quality essentials for the outdoor enthusiast.
