Verified Buyer Reviewed by tee from GA on Friday, May 16, 2014The styling and fit of this jacket was a disappointment. Ordered for my husband and it was a heavy, shapeless jacket with no quality detailing one expects from Andrew Marc, though this is the cheaper Marc New York branch of the designer's brand, it didn't measure up to what would be expected for an MSRP of almost $300. The liner appears warm but makes the coat heavy and the nylon outer feels cheap. It is too reminiscent of the uniform grade jackets you see police and security staff wearing (had family in service, so I know). It looks better in the picture than in person but if you're not concerned about style or the discomfort of a heavy coat, you may appreciate its basic functionality, if you get on super sale.

Reviewed by Lee Butcher from The Great State of Misery (Missouri) on Tuesday, November 19, 2013We bought this for our son-in-law for Christmas, so I can't really give an actual "usage" review, but after seeing it (my wife ordered it), I would say it's a pretty nice jacket, and the zip out liner feels really warm. I'm personally not a fan of synthetic material for clothing, but it is nice looking. When it arrived, my wife was disappointed that it wasn't leather(??), but she still likes it. (I asked here if she had read the description on it, and she said she just thought it looked like leather. I would say she probably looked at the price and assumed it was leather. At this point, I would like to say that I have no trust in companies that place a current popular "name brand" on a product, price it high at American or European level manufacturing prices, then build it in China, Vietnam or some other near-slave labor country. If you're paying people a decent living wage, you can pass that along to the buyer, but not when you pay people pennies on the dollar and then keep the profits for the so called "investors". Therefore, even though we got this coat for $75, it probably didn't cost anywhere near that to make. This makes the actual retail price almost sickening. But, that said, it is a nice coat, even though it is 100% plastic (synthetics) and 100% cheap, exploited labor. If you don't mind that, it's a great deal.
Reviewed by Cozy from Wyoming on Thursday, October 17, 2013I LOVE this coat. I bought it for the cold Wyoming Winters. It keeps me so warm and dry! The removable vest liner is nice as a fall vest. Buy this coat!
Reviewed by Jan from Calgary on Monday, June 3, 2013I bought this for my husband. I bought it based on the size chart M and it runs a little big but he is going to keep it.
