  • “I consistently work in conditions sub freezing. How hot do these pants run? I need a pair of pants that can keep me happy at around 10-15 degrees F. ”
Asked by V Lundo from Arizona on 1/28/2017 1:45:01 PM
    • This pants is for ski activity .You need some insulated pants like primaloft or lite down pants . Or you can use this pants over some base layer - better some polartec base layer pants.my daughter stay warmed on this marker pants over base climaheat leggings like 10 degree and she says werry comfortable and warm.
Answered on 1/28/2017 2:29:54 PM by Yuriy from New York
    • These pants, I believe, would be plenty warm. However, they were so off in size that I had to return them. The waist was several inches too large with no way to adjust it with the typical tabs or other cinching allowances. The good news is that they ARE too large, so if you wanted to spend something to alter them to fit these might work for you.

    • Sorry, I did not keep these to test. I have been wearing Columbia omni-heat pants and they work great. Generously sized, available with and without insulation, lots of size and color options. I am a big fan of omni heat in everything but base layers.

    • These pants keep you insulated from the cold, but in weather from 10-15 degrees F I typically wear a light baselayer (capilene 2 from Patagonia) and fleece pants. With the combination of the three, I keep a perfect temperature.

  • “One of the reviewers mentioned that there is no way to adjust the waist but the description of the product says their is a velco adjustable tunnel waist. Which is true?”
Asked by Jessica from Seattle on 10/6/2016 8:31:36 PM
    • I see that it says that on the description, but if it was there, I didn't find it. I looked and looked and was quite happy with the pants except the waist, so I definitely would have kept them.

    • High Line has a contoured, shaped, waist band. Marker has adjustable waist bands in the Gillette and Pandemonium styles.

About Marker

Marker got its start in 1952, when skiing pioneer Hannes Marker produced and marketed the first commercially successful releasable ski bindings. Marker continued to perfect his new binding system, and soon other ski companies began manufacturing releasable ski bindings. Now, with more than 50 years in the ski gear and clothing industry, Marker has become a snowsport leader, adding ski jackets, ski pants, snowsport helmets and goggles to the Marker product line. You can't beat a Marker Gore-Tex® waterproof jacket for a snowy day on the slopes, and Marker also offers performance mid-layer clothing like fleece jackets and vests. For legendary Marker quality at closeout prices, you've come to the right place.
