Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Paula from MN on Friday, November 9, 2012Got this jacket for my 15 yr. old. She loves it. It was a fantastic price for gortex. I won't buy anything that isn't waterproof for our cold wet fall, winters and spring in MN. She has a long walk to the busstop. Roomy enough for layers when it it 25 below and light enough for 35 degrees. Love this Marker jacket. Wish it came in other colors patterns so I could get one too.
- Best Uses: Outdoors stuff, Skiing, Walking To School And Bus
- Cons: none
- Pros: Gortex, Great Pattern, Great Value, Perfect for skiing, Roomy enough for layers, Waterproof, Windproof
Reviewed by CalGal22 from Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, March 28, 2012I tried several jackets and settled on this one because it fit nicely, I liked the fabric (even though I'm not nominally a "purple person") and the pocket situation was adequate (very important for a day on the slopes). That said, the fit is very boxy and there's a weird butt pocket I don't quite understand. Is it for storing the removable hood? The length is nice. The pit zips are not full arm length as i would like but will probably suffice. It is very lightweight. I've never had Gortex before, so that is a luxury. Can't wait to get it out on the hill to see how it performs.
- Best Uses: Winter sports
- Cons: Pit zips oddly placed, Weird back pocket
- Pros: Nice Fabric, Quality construction
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Derby from CA on Thursday, March 15, 2012jacket is warm, fit well, not bulky. Plenty of pockets!
- Best Uses: Skisnow board
- Pros: Warm comfortable
Verified Buyer Reviewed by katkat from boston on Monday, February 27, 2012great jacket for powder days or just any day very neutral, will match just about everything!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Winter Enthusiast from Rochester, NY on Thursday, February 2, 2012I am wearing this coat while I work outside, hike and walk my dog in this weird winter weather. It is a great fit, allowing for layers underneath. I love the pockets!
One con: one of the snaps on the snow skirt came off immediately, but because I don't need to use this skirt, it is not a huge issue to me. But, that is why I would rate it less than a 5. For practical, non-skiing use, it is perfect for my situation.
- Best Uses: For working outside, Hiking, Walking the dog
- Cons: A snap broke off
- Pros: Great pockets, It fits well
