Marker got its start in 1952, when skiing pioneer Hannes Marker produced and marketed the first commercially successful releasable ski bindings. Marker continued to perfect his new binding system, and soon other ski companies began manufacturing releasable ski bindings. Now, with more than 50 years in the ski gear and clothing industry, Marker has become a snowsport leader, adding ski jackets, ski pants, snowsport helmets and goggles to the Marker product line. You can't beat a Marker Gore-Tex® waterproof jacket for a snowy day on the slopes, and Marker also offers performance mid-layer clothing like fleece jackets and vests. For legendary Marker quality at closeout prices, you've come to the right place.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great but unusualVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sweb from Cal on Saturday, May 6, 2017Looks like this fabric was too expensive to survive the market generally. It is what it says a generous size large for me 5 10 160 easy to layer. Fabric is not too crinkly some stretch or give like a thin softshell waterproof jacket with zipper on other side Eropean style. For me this is a very functional jacket at stp price.
