I have yet to take the bag out yet as I just received it. I was a little leery beings it was so much cheaper than comparable bags. The fit and finish of the bag is true to Marmot standards and looks great. I am a side sleeper and have plenty of room to roll in the bag. I will return with an updated review soon. I am taking it on the AT for a few days so I will see how it performs in the cold. It fits fairly easy into the stuff sack and loft is quick to return when unpacked. I gave it a four star only due to the fact I haven't had it on the trail yet. Hopefully will return with the fifth star.

This is a fantastic sleeping bag. Took it on a backpacking trip where it was cold and raining all night and I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. I wish the stuff sack was a little smaller but you can always buy that separately.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
