Lightweight comfortable bag

It comes with a stuff sack but it's not enough to compress it. I would highly recommend you buy a sack separately.mother than that, the bag is of high quality and very warm. For the price STT offers, you can't go wrong.

  • Decent bag for the price
Reviewed by dexter from CA on Wednesday, April 11, 2018
I purchased the long, as I am 6'3", and found it to be just long enough for me to fit. Width wise, it is just about perfect for someone of average to somewhat heavy build. Construction is pretty solid; seams looked good and the down fill was even. Zipper was fussy.

The reason this bag is so inexpensive is that it use 650 fill down, and while it does loft properly it is not as warm as 850 fill. I found that in 30 degree temps the bag seemed cold, even with a pad. Speaking of which, if you do opt to buy this bag make sure you have an insulated pad.

If you are on a budget this bag would be a good choice.
  • Great bag

This bag is good quality. We bought one for a friend and liked it so much we bought a second one for my husband. Good quality , YKK zippers.good down. My friend slept outside with no tent in 30 degree temperatures and was plenty warm. He is also about 6'4 and the long bag works just fine.
  • Color looks way better in person

For some reason, the coloring in the image looks terrible! Much nicer in person :) Bought this as a present for my boyfriend and he loves it very much (6' tall guy with plenty of room in the bag). He stays nice and warm in this bag while I am freezing cold..looks like I'll have to get one of these as well :)
  • Well stuffed, great price

I was very happy with this purchase. I had bought a sleeping bag that was a different brand from Sierra Trading Post....I believe it was also 650 fill; I was disappointed, the bag was understuffed, hardly any down in it. This bag however, was nice and fluffy, well stuffed with down, and a great price, I got it for about $135! It is plenty long for a man over 6' ft. I have experience with down sleeping bags...I have actually made my own down sleeping bag. I believe this bag is well worth the cost & will keep you plenty warm. It has YKK zippers which is ideal (a good zipper company) it came with a nice lofting bag & a compression sack. I may order 2 more. ??

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
