I used this bag 2 nights backpacking a section of the AT. This bag is 2lbs. 9oz and compresses well. The first night our thermometer read 18 degrees at 8pm and it definitely got colder from there. I wore wool socks, a medium base layer top and bottom plus a night cap. I was very comfortable all night. There were two in a two man tent and there was no wind. Your comfort may vary! It does not have all the features of some more expensive bags such as water resistant down and a pad sleeve but for the discounted price I rate it a 5.
