great bag, roomier than expected. I'm 5'10, ~200lbs.

This bag is warm, a much more attractive color than the picture shows (more a moss green), and definitely well made. A great bag at a great price!

Used it on a 3 day warm weather trip and have zero complaints so far. If you're a back backer you may look for something that packs a little smaller. Definitely buy a compression sack for it to help save space. I bought a coolmax sleeping bag liner which makes it that much more comfortable. Night time temps were only in the low 40's so I can't vouch for the temp rating performance but the bag looks, feels, and is constructed like a quality product should be. Can't go wrong on a deal flyer discount.

First off, I have to give Marmot 5 Stars for Customer Service, they really stand behind their products. This bag is generally well made, the exception being the insulation is not evenly distributed. It is not, imo, a 30F bag as advertised, it is not even a 40F bag. Last night in a tent, on an insulated pad, with a flannel liner, it got down to 39F and I was cold. It's a reasonable value for the discounted price, and if Marmot fixed the insulation it would be a good bag.

Kept me at the perfect temperature. Never too hot, never too cold. Slept better in this bag than I do in my bed.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
