Reliable 2P tent, quality construction

The tent stayed in the same location for 17 days and housed only one occupant. Night time temperatures ranged from 20 to 60 F. Weather included direct sun, thunderstorms, windstorms and subfreezing frosts. The fly was securely staked down using all available tie-loops, (and two large rocks). The tent and fly remained completely intact under all these conditions and it never leaked anywhere (rainfly and floor). The rainfly vestibule kept my gear stored outside the tent (but under the rainfly) completely dry.

A very interesting result was that condensation only formed on the inside of the rainfly but never on the tent! I believe this may be due to the tent being entirely mesh (except the floor). This important feature avoids the problem of touching the inside of the tent and getting wet from the condensation.

The zippers never snagged. The tent had handy loops to secure the rolled up rainfly flaps when they were open. This allowed partial privacy (due to the remaining rainfly) while allowing ventilation and partial viewing of the outside.

This 2 person tent was fine for one person plus gear planted in one place for over two weeks. Two people is doable if they put their gear outside yet under the rainfly vestibule (but I never tried this).

I've owned a Marmot tent in the past and was happy to see they are still making high quality tents.
