Great tent

I've only used the tent once so far this summer (car camping) and of course it had to rain the first night. It rained hard and was quite windy for an hour or so as a storm front moved through. The rain kept up off and on throughout the night. The tent never moved, was quiet (no jingling or flapping) and everything inside stayed completely dry. It was getting a little too warm inside but since I wasn't using either vestibule for storage, I just unzipped the rainfly a bit for ventilation.

I bought the tent just for me to use and was able to fit a 6 foot long cot inside. Plenty of room for one, since I am getting older, creaky and like to be comfortable!

I hadn't put up a tent (or camped in a tent) in 30+ years but had the Ajax up in less that 10 minutes. Since there wasn't a footprint available, I just bought an 8 x 10 tarp to use underneath. I did also buy some liquid seam sealer and used it on the inside seams as a precaution.

My only complaint certainly isn't the tent's fault, I knew what I was buying. But after using it once, I now want a larger tent, something I can stand up in. The search is on.........
