Good Daypack, Not as Big as Claimed

I bought this pack for a trip to the Pacific Northwest to replace one (different brand) I've had for years. This one worked great for both my urban treks as well as my day hikes into the wilderness. It worked fine for carrying on while flying, but wasn't as big as I'd hoped. The description lists its capacity as 35L, which is what I was looking for, but in reality (and the tag on the pack confirms this) it's only 25L. My biggest frustration is that while the 3 main compartments are fairly roomy, it could really use some zippered pockets for smaller items. There is only one zippered mesh pocket and some flat, open pockets, but they're really too small to be practical and only big enough to hold pens and such; they weren't even big enough to hold my small Moleskine notebook. Overall though it feels pretty sturdy and was quite comfortable to wear, so I'm keeping it.
