I wear size 4-6, 5'7" and 138 lbs. Size small just fits. I might have ordered a medium. Super warm and compresses nicely. Loved wearing them under my ski pants when it was 0 degrees in Jackson Wy.

Question & Answer

  • “Regarding the color dark Steel/Heather/Black (01), is it one side is plan grey as shown in the picture while the other side is plain solid black? Thank you.”
Asked by MsY from Oregon on 2/22/2016 5:30:14 PM
    • Yes. The grey side is a heather, and the reverse is a solid black. The tights are double thickness, too, making them genuinely reversable, but rather heavy.

  • “Does the dark spot in the crotch mean the gusset is a different color?”
Asked by NHGal from New Hampshire on 1/22/2016 6:35:19 AM
    • It's the same color. It must be the lighting in the photo.
Answered on 1/22/2016 7:31:39 AM by RVAGal from Virginia
    • This item is one solid color. The dark spot is due to lighting in the photography studio.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
