Single most usable layer

I bought my first Driclime Windshirt several years ago after reading all kinds of great things about it and knew immediately I should have gotten one sooner. I use the heck out of this thing and while the first is still going strong, it was time for another.

This single layer does most everything and does it all well. It's great as a super-light windbreaker for a spring evening on the beach, as a light weight long sleeve jersey for a cool morning bike ride, super comfy as a base layer under a fleece. And the nylon outer makes pulling a fleece lined softshell over it a snap. I tend to run a little cool but I've used the driclime under a lined softshell in moderate output activities down into the teens for night skiing fresh pow in Idaho.

I'm short, broad-shouldered, thick necked, moderately large in the chest and back, with just a couple extra inches in the middle, but the medium fits really well. A little long in the sleeves and maybe just a tad long in the torso, but very wearable without looking like my big brothers old one. In other words, from experience it feels true to size.

It's highly wind resistant but breathes extremely well. At high outputs I perspire and it gets wet but dries quickly. I've only really suffered once going too hard for too long with it on before realizing I needed to ditch the wind layer. It stuffs down to large kleenex size and drops easily into a pocket or lumbar pack.

It's a good deal at retail, at Sierra's normal price it it's a steal, and with the STP good guy discount coupon it's a crime. Stop considering and get the thing already!
