Read the reviews and ordered this vest in the wine color - it's a beautiful , stylish, well-made vest. All seams are finished smoothly and neatly; the fit is form-fitting without feeling tight. I am often a small but I got a Medium in this. I think it runs a bit small. Got the red color which is hard to describe. It isn't a true red or a cranberry, it has a bit of rust color to it but it is an unusual color ( in a good way) and this is a great vest.

I had seen this vest in several stores but wasn't willing to pay full price for it. Low and behold it showed up on STP. I live in the Pacific Northwest and in the winter layering is a must. This vest is a great addition to my closet. It is very warm and I've gotten loads of compliments. So far I've used it for hiking, cross country skiing, and just general wear to the office. It is more fitted that other vests brands I own, but the small fits well even with a fleece under it (I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs).

I already have the jacket like this, which I love. I think they run on the small side, unless you want a tight fit. I like to be able to wear a sweater, comfortably.
The hood is very soft, comfy faux fur. I think the quality is good and would recommend this vest.

Read the reviews and ordered this vest in the wine color - it's a beautiful , stylish, well-made vest. All seams are finished smoothly and neatly; the fit is form-fitting without feeling tight. The arm holes are large enough to wear a heavy sweater underneath. The hood will sit smartly when not in use and not poke you in the back of the head to be an annoyance, and is a very ample size when up and in use without being too large that you can't see. Wish they had used a two-way zipper so it could be unzipped from the bottom for comfort, but it just zips down. I'm 5'7", 135, it falls at mid hip and I can move and sit down freely. I was so happy with this vest I ordered the jacket. I feel it can be worn for every day use but also wear it when needing something a bit dressy. The fact that it is washable sold me.

A nice somewhat dressy vest. The fit is for someone with a smaller cup size. If you have a larger chest size, the center seam may be to high. The fur is beautiful and I am very pleased with it. I am 5'7" 125# and I ordered the small.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
