Great sweatshirt. I wanted something that looked a little nicer than my typical hoodies and this works great. Looks great and very warm.

I'm 5'10", athletic build and wear a 42S jacket. I bought the Large size of the Harris jacket which has an athletic fit (slightly slimmer than "standard" but definitely not tight like "slim fit").

I'm surprised by how much I like this jacket. The fleece lining is thick and comfortable, and the outer fabric feels durable. The collar comes up high to cover my neck, the hood is shaped well, and the sleeves are longer to allow for freedom of movement. There's even a drawstring around the waist.

    Length is to upper-thigh.

This is similar to the Marmot Norhiem jacket which had nylon panels on the shoulders (for backpack strap durability, I assume).

Overall a great, comfortable jacket. Price is a bit steep, but it's my new favorite cool-weather layer.

Nice high quality hoodie. Great to wear underneath a jacket on really cold days.

Cons: Berber fleece is not so soft as description, but seems would be durable after machine wash. Anyway, you would not feel ichy. A little bit loosen on arm and chest when only wearing summer shirts.

Conclusion: Casual, practical, classic looks for most situations.

PS: I can't find relative information on Marmot Website except STP.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
