I was so happy to find these pants in the size I needed. I already owned them in a different size, but I lost weight and needed a smaller size. The new pair fit perfectly, the old pair used to fit perfectly too. They are very warm, comfortable, and look great on. My only complaint would be I wish th... Read More

I bought the Marmot Horizon pant in preparation for skiing and playing in the Michigan snow with my kids next year. I was looking for a waterproof ski pant that will keep me warm. The end of the season price was just what I was looking for!
I bought the Violet Mist color (which is like a baby blue) in size small. They seem true to size; fitted, but comfortable with enough extra room to layer on colder days. (32" hips, 28" waist, 116 lbs)
I'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of these!

High quality. A flattering fit, to the extent that's possible with snow pants! I like the reinforced fabric at points of friction (e.g. inner ankles), to improve their longevity. They are a nice dark gray color that will match essentially any jacket.

Finding the right ski pant was tough. I tried on 6 different pairs of all different sizes and none of them were quite right. I actually ordered these in a large because my sizing was off in other brands from my norm. Luckily they had the mediums back in stock and these fit perfectly. Medium is my normal size so I had been frustrated up to this point. Enough room to layer if in colder weather, not restricting in any way and lots of pockets! Can't wait to use them soon.

Very nice pants but they look bulky - not the most flattering fit so decided not to keep them. I am 5'5", 125 and ordered a small. An XS would be too small.

I bought the blue in small and they fit very well. I generally wear a size 6 jean and have a larger bum/smaller waist and fairly big quads and these fit well. They are snug, but I like the slimmer fit. They also seem to have just a slight bit of stretch. They are warm but not the warmest - I have looser, thicker ski pants for the coldest of days but these are good for 80-90% of the time. Plus, I tend to be cold. The styling and pockets are slimming. I was psyched to find such an amazing price on a brand like Marmot, which is always top-quality.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
