I recently purchased this jacket and am sooo glad I did! Wore it today here in WI, with the wind chills WAY below zero. Had on a just an lightweight fleece top, and couldn't believe it--I didn't freeze! Now I wasn't hiking about all day, granted, but this coat is plenty warm. We'll see how waterp... Read More

Beautiful, quality coat, but wasn't available in a L size so I took a chance and ordered the XL. It was allover too big for me, so I had to return it.
  • Great coat!

Bought this in a small for my tween. She is about a 1/3 in sizing and it fits her great. I would say it runs a little on the small side but it fits her well. I like it because it covers the butt which will be great for skiing.
  • The coat I’ve been searching for

I’ve needed a coat that actually keeps me warm in the winter and this is the one. It is also water and wind proof which helps a lot. The inner fleece layer is super soft and warm. I haven’t worn layers separate yet but love that it’s an option. I normally wear a small but there weren’t any available and based on how their reviews I jumped the a medium. It works perfect.

the only small problem is that the zipper is not a two-way. (so it does not unzip up from the bottom)
  • Great Winter Jacket!

I was looking for a quality 3-in-1 jacket for ski season, and this one is perfect! I've already worn it a few times in the cold, and it definitely keeps you warm. The fleece on the inside is so soft and comfy, and the liner blocks out wind and snow. I can't wait to wear this on the slopes!

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
