5.0 out of 5 stars. instant happiness

From the minute I saw this on Sierra I wanted it. I love the gray colors and pattern. I typically wear a medium shirt but ordered this in the large because I'll be hiking in it mostly and prefer a fit that is not body hugging or constricting. It fit comfortably everywhere and feels light when wearing it. I feel that it is true to size.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Odd cut shirt not super flattering

I usually love Marmot but this one has a huge opening for the neck and flares out a bit at the hips and so it makes the shirt look pretty short and makes you look a bit wider. It also has an interesting back seam that kind of puckers out a bit along your mid-life back. It's not a horrible shirt just a bit odd. It is really thin so it's probably pretty cool in summer but I really don't care for the cut of this shirt and the Grey color is nothing special. Even at the clearance price it's not worth keeping.

I got this shirt in the mult-blues and it is very attractive. Made by Marmot, a great company with great products and this fits the bill as most of their stuff. Fits well, without being tight, nice length and moves well while exercises. Looks great in and out of the gym.

Simple shirt, nice neck line and looks great after washing.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. This was an odd one...

This was an odd one... I loved the fabric and print of this top but the cut and fit was just weird. It was snug at the chest, I'm a normal sized person not very top heavy, and huge at the waist and down....

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
