Very well thought out tent. Used one night sub freezing so far. No/minimal condensation, venting was quite adequate with 1 person. Pushing heavy for a backpacking tent, but doable. This is a situation where an extra pound may be a worthy compromise for the quality of the shelter. No doubt it would make a great base camp tent. Pretty easy setup. A lot of poles, though: 6. With that said, only 2 of them are critical for the structure (basically a dome tent). 3 of them pull the walls outward and support the fly. In a pinch you could probably do without 2 of them. And without the fly, it's still a pretty nice tent (I guess as long as there is minimal precip)!
Overall a great value for the cost. If you asked me to lay out $600 for a Thor, still worthy but well, I dunno. But for $3-400 at STP, depending on your discount, it's a no-brainer if you want a versatile, sturdy, true 4-season tent.
