lightweight bomber shell

This is a top notch jacket that I am very impressed with. The design is simple and clean thus cutting down on the weight but it still comes with features like pit zips, Napoleon pocket, full adjustable hood and waist and Velcro cuffs. The outer material is not as crunchy as some shells and feels durable for something so lightweight. One negative is when using a backpack the two front zippers are hard to get into over the packstraps..keep this in mind if you want to use this while backpacking and store items in front jacket pockets.Interesting thing is this jacket is actually called the minimalist jacket but for some reason STP calls it something else. Remember this is only a shell so you'll want to wear insulating layers and the jacket is cut a tad larger for this but IMO I wouldn't size down. I'm 5'10 185 and I have a large which works well. The one thing I like about the paclite material is I can wear the jacket with just a short sleeve shirt and unless I'm sweating the inner material is fine against my skin, not super rubbery which I like. Find a 30% coupon off this jacket and its an excellent deal.thanks STP!!!
