Pants seem to be durable so I will wear these with a pair of warm base layer pants to stay warm this winter while I'm having some backyard winter fun. I also think the Pingora could be used all year round for hiking and just knocking about.

I wore these pants on an elk hunt in high mountain country Colorado. The pants performed well and received much use. I wore these pants while washing in a creek every couple days for about a week. There is some wear, but very minimal. The stitching held up. Overall, the pants are comfortable and dry extremely fast while keeping your legs both warm and cool.

For once I found a pair of hiking pants in 32W that weren't too short for me. (6'0) They are light, quick too dry and comfortable. No complaints so far.

I bought a pair of these last week and climbed 4 mountains in them. They were comfortable and fit me perfectly. I have a skinny waist and really long legs. It rained while I was pitching my tent on the side of a mountain and they repelled the water like they're supposed to.

These would score more highly as windbreaker pants, but are advertised as rain pants--they are not. The pants are merely and marginally water repellent. Well made light pants otherwise.
