Plenty long!

These pants did NOT shrink too much in length after washing. Which I was concerned about. They are soft and nicer looking than lined work pants.

  • No stretch so not so comfy for movement

I like that these are lined pants since I was looking for a winter pant and I like the longer length.... however....they aren't very comfortable since they don't have any stretch to them...very tight when you lift your leg. They are on the looser side which isn't very flattering anyway. I decided they weren't worth keeping and sent them back. They do run true to size and if you want a loose fitting lined pant you may really like these.......I think I prefer a more slim pant with some stretch.
  • not as expected

first, these run large, needed one size smaller than my usual size. Second, the liner is very thin material, as well as the nylon exterior, together they don't make a thick enough layer for what I consider 'lined' pants for cool/cold weather. First time I've been disappointed with this brand.

  • warmth and comfort

Will be traveling in cold climates soon and wanted durable, comfortable, warm pants for trekking. These pants are true to size, in my opinion. I had read reviews that said they ran small, so I ordered the next size up. They were huge! Fortunately, exchanging them was not difficult, and was taken care of immediately. I now have pants that fit, that are super warm and comfy and am ready for whatever the weather throws at me!

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
