Perfect to the rain in my bike, easy to use without neet to get off the shoes

Just received and writing to review fit and deployment. Fit as expected. Rise is long enough that the waistband rides above your pants waist, leaving correct inseam length. Easy to deploy: fully open zippers (zippers disengage at the TOP, not the bottom), affix at waist by securing Velcro tabs, then zip each side DOWN. Easy peasey lemon squeezey!
  • Full-zip I'd not zip-off

Disappointed to see that full-zip does not mean zip-off. So you still have to put your muddy, wet boots through the pant legs; you simply have the choice of how high or low to do it.

  • “Can these pants be worn over jeans/khakis?”
Asked by T-Dawg from Alabama on 11/3/2017 9:22:50 AM
    • You could wear them over jeans as long as you size accordingly but the best would be a base layer type of pant.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
