Can't be beat for the price

I've owned four of these. The first one I bought so long ago I can't remember when...the coating wore out around the neck (high wear area) but Marmot replaced it (lifetime warranty). I've worn it as a rainjacket as well as a shell for cross-country and backcountry skiing. It's not the most breathable jacket on the market but I found it quite acceptable. It's well made...you don't get a lot of fancy features but it's relatively light, packs small, and is inexpensive. I gave two away as gifts to people getting started hiking. I purchased a new one just to keep in my vehicle in case of rain. For the price, it's tough to beat. Highly recommended...especially if you're on a budget.
