Noisy Fabric

Haven't tested in the weather yet, but my first impression is that the material is very noisy with any movement. It is very light weight, construction seems to be in line with what you'd expect from Marmot and it appears that it will serve it's main function well. It just kinda makes me feel like I'm wearing a cheap plastic poncho. I'm sure whether I'll keep it or not. I'm imagining wearing it on a hike or fishing trip and I think the constant swishing and crinkling noise would get old quickly. You're not going to be sneaking up on anyone or anything wearing this jacket. It also runs just a little large. I'm 6'0" 170 and wear a medium jacket, which is what I ordered. It's a much more "relaxed" fit than my other outdoor gear. If you're accustomed to soft shells, you will not appreciate the fabric on this jacket.
