5.0 out of 5 stars. Great...

I first ordered a pair of these pants last year and was going to use them for an occasional rain while fishing out on the boat. Thought it would be nice to have a light pant, instead of having to throw on my heavy rain gear. These performed awesome they're light and comfortable and so far have kept the rain out. They are now also my go-to pants for winter hiking when there's a good wind. I will wear these over a layer or two. I am 6 foot 4 about 215 pounds and the large is perfect. Easily goes over even a pair of jeans. I'm kind of stuck between a 34 and a 36 inch waist so again perfect with the large. They are a little crinkly but again I am using these for hiking and fishing and general outdoor activity not foregoing out to eat. I recently ordered a few more pairs.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Just what I needed
Verified Buyer Reviewed by BenQ from East Coast on Sunday, February 17, 2019
Thin and light making them easy to carry; used for commuting over regular dress pants in rain; so far no issues with shedding water or overheating, but did not expose them to very heavy rain yet. Sizing is true; got medium for 33 waist and 34 inseam and they are just a tad short (according to my preference) so I need to wear the waist maybe an inch lower than I would like, but I expect large would be to wide in waist and legs, so this was a good choice overall.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Love the Precip line

Wife has a Precip jacket and my daughter has the jacket and pants. I needed a lighter pair of waterproof pants so got these and really happy with them. Sized to fit over other clothes. Would buy again.

Received them quickly. Not worn them in rain yet, but used them in the wind one day at work. They fit, had good zip pockets, and were comfortable and quiet.

Bought these for my son who says they fit very well. He is 6’2” and about 170 pounds and the large was a perfect fit. They haven’t been tested in rain yet.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Rain/wind pant

These pants fit my son perfect and are exactly as advertised. We thought he could use them to nordic and skate ski and they are not designed for those activities. If you're looking for a rain or wind pant, these would be great.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
