Best lightweight puffyVerified Buyer Reviewed by kc from Montana on Saturday, October 28, 2017So light and soft. Great as layer for super cold skiing or ice climbing. Or as stand alone for cool weather.
Poor valueVerified Buyer Reviewed by Barcamatic from Colorado on Thursday, June 8, 2017Excellent jacket but very thin for the price paid
Nice JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by bioman from nyc on Wednesday, March 29, 2017This jacket is perfect for fall usage. With decent insulation, pockets to fit all of my needs, and a hoodie with decent cover it works well for me. It is light for a jacket, but was warmer then i expected it to be. The material is strong enough that it will not tear easily. Strong and reliable.
Great Jacket!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Luke from WI on Monday, March 27, 2017Moved back to Wisconsin after 25+ years living South/West. Forgotten how cold it is here. It was either this jacket, or gut a TaunTaun to stuff myself in. This smells better.
Good weight to warmth ratioVerified Buyer Reviewed by Winter hiker from Georgia on Monday, March 20, 2017This is a warm jacket and value is great.
Amazing JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by John from Massachusetts on Monday, March 6, 2017This is the best winter jacket I have ever owned. It's incredibly light weight. The insulation has kept me warm on days as cold as 15 degrees. It blocks wind well but not perfectly - I felt a little bit of wind inside when walking in 40mph gusts. The hood is comfortable, warm, stays on, and affords great visibility - so much nicer than jackets where the hood is like blinders. The cinch on the back of the hood works well. The zippers seem durable. I thought I'd be embarrassed by the bright green-yellow color, but I like it better in person than in the website photos. It's nice to bring some bright springy green into the wintry cold. If it holds up without pilling, this will be my go to jacket for both hiking and commuting, anytime it's below 40 degrees. I'd add a shell over it for wet weather, and a mid-layer for bitter cold.
Quality and lightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoor hiking from North Carolina on Sunday, January 29, 2017Marmot quality construction all the way. Considered the Arcyterx cerium LT but it lacked a chest pocket and waist draw cord, this jacket has it all and at a better price.
Excellent jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mary from Portland, Oregon on Sunday, January 22, 2017I ordered a size large for my son (6'3 - very lean) but it was too small in the shoulders. The XL is perfect. The arms are nice and long and the torso is also perfect. I thought he might need the tall version of this jacket but that would have been waaaayyyyy too long.
Great down jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Zhuo from New Jersey on Thursday, December 29, 2016I can hardly feel the weight of it on me. If you pull the pocket inside out, the jacket can be packed quite compactly.
Great jacket, strange sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by RicPitch from Denver on Tuesday, December 13, 2016The jacket itself recirculates heat as well as any other down i've had before, but it's small to size in my opinion. I initially ordered a large, as I have a marmot rain coat in the same size, but it was too tight across the shoulders and in the neck when fully zipped. I exchanged the large for an XL and have been pleased, dispite a little extra room. I'm 5'10" 200, with fairly broad shoulders, so someone more slender would probably fine in their normal size.
