Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Pretty but annoyingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Delia from Idaho on Tuesday, January 16, 2018The jacket fit well and the color was just as pretty as the photo. The outer shell was so loud and crinkly when you move we decided to return the item.
Great rain jacket!Reviewed by Lynn from Santa Rosa, CA on Tuesday, December 5, 2017This is a great jacket. I got it in the raspberry color. It's bright, but I love it and think it's an uplifting color for dreary days. I've gotten many compliments on it already! I work outside (under a tent) and wore it all day during a downpour. I stayed nice and dry. Best of all, it really is breathable! Other rain coats end up feeling like a hot, steamy, sweaty green house for me, but this one is perfect! I also really like the roomy hood.
Other people say this coat runs small, but I don't think so. It is a little tight around the waist, but the sleeves are very long, and the top part is roomy for me. I rolled up the cuffs and think it's perfect.
Nice rain coat, not a good 3 in 1Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ready to play in the rain from New York on Wednesday, October 25, 2017The outer raincoat fit perfectly however the fleece coat was very small. It didn't go to my wrists and it was very short on my torso. Needless to say the coat was returned for a different product.
Too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Moab hiker from Utah on Thursday, January 19, 2017I absolutely loved this jacket - it was everything I wanted in a winter hiking jacket. But sadly, it was too small. I only weigh 100 pounds so ordered the size S, but it was not big enough to include my layers underneath. I had to send it back, and they were out of stock on all other sizes, so I could not buy this jacket. Very, very disappointed.
Love this jacket!Reviewed by Teresa from Cazadero, California on Thursday, January 5, 2017I live in the rainiest town in California. (We get between 85-110 inches of rain per year!) It's been a wet season and I'm so grateful to have my new jacket. I hike in the redwoods often where it's always wet. This jacket is breathable and I'm able to be comfortably active while still staying dry. I would mention that I always order women's smalls (in tops) and they seem to fit fine. I have proportionately larger hips/butt and it's a bit tight in this area for me. I could have gotten away with a larger size, but I don't like swimming in things.
Great jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Colorado hiker from Colorado on Thursday, January 5, 2017Got this for my 16 YO daughter. She really likes the fit and style. Versatile jacket, fleece liner zips out easily. Liner is nice and light, not too heavy.
VERY SmallReviewed by PearlGirl25 from Virginia on Tuesday, January 3, 2017Like another reviewer, I ordered this for someone who typically wears a size 4. A Small fit like an XS, so I am hoping that a Medium will do the trick. Otherwise, it's a great jacket!
Wind and waterproofVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eat Drums from Oregon on Friday, December 23, 2016I was excited to finally try a Marmot brand coat! It has excellent insulation when adding a down jacked between the fleece and outer layer! Without the added down layer, it might not be warm enough depending on the weather. The fleece is high quality with shorter arms. The outer shell has adjustable velcro on the arms and does great in the wind/snow/ice/rain! However, it is too noisy and crinkly for my taste. When cinching the bottom so seal out snow, the jacket keeps riding up exposing my lower back. This is a huge downside for people who are regularly active in the winter, but not so bad if you don't fall down a lot.
Runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by tiffany from MN on Monday, December 19, 2016I bought this jacket for my 13 year old daughter who is 5'4 115lbs..thinking a medium would give her enough room she said it was really tight in her arms and shoulder area. Had to be returned.
Win - WinReviewed by Neeman from Israel on Wednesday, December 14, 2016I purchased this for my daughter
She is thrilled
Two standalone jackets in one
The fleece is windproof
The outer is rainproof
Together the fleece absorbs any condensation from the jacket
Read these reviews and got a size up, so it fits over a light soft shell jacket
