My step-daughter was thrilled to receive this Marmot Riley insulated Shirt. Why? Great colors. Snaps on the front are easier for her hands than buttons or threading zippers. The cut is generous but not sloppy looking and she thought the weight of the garment makes it a great layer item or as is out... Read More

Nice quality but runs a little small
  • Great overshirt

I've been looking for one like this forever, so I can quit stealing my husband's. Wanted the slippery taffeta lining rather than fleece, so it is easy to put on over sweaters. I got the small and it fits perfectly, I am 5'3 127 lbs with narrow shoulders. It's a little more dressy looking than I expected. The only thing that would make it more perfect is if it was a little longer.

I did like this shirt/jacket but had to return the large as the Large was a little tight in places with another shirt under.
I wanted the blue color in XL but was not available.
  • Great Fall layer

Just the right amount of warmth and wind protection for Fall. Casual and comfortable, fits true to size. Extra length in back makes it perfect for my may hour of sitting on bleachers at sporting events.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
