Good quality. These snowpants have already had some heavy use and have been great at keeping my little girl dry in some deep powder recently. We use them mostly for the playground and some sledding but they have been great and I've had no complaints from the 5 year old. They are a little too big for her (We got the Small and she's a hair under 4ft tall and about 45lbs) so she could have gotten an XS but that wasn't available and I'm not too sad about getting to use them for another season. So far, the best snowpants we have had for her compared to the last couple cheapos we got.

Just bought these for my 7 yr old daughter in the yellow to match her green marmot coat. She hasn't used them yet but they are darling and seem like good quality! Hope to get good use out of them!!

These were cute and we were bummed to have to return them. They were very small. They fit my daughter the same as those she has warn for the past 2 years and those are a size smaller.

Good quality. I like specifically this design because it doesn't get extremely cold where we ski, so regular jacket is more than enough and large bib-pants are not needed, however regular pants do not work for skiing, at least not for kids. These pants are perfect and will last long since there is way to adjust them on top and on the bottom. Also, many colors are great for girls and boys if you have multiple kids.

I love the quality of Marmot; it is not cheap, but it lasts a long time. I actually got the pants in dark blue for my son (looked at the website, no difference with pants for boys). I feel that they are better than bib-pants since most jackets provide enough warmth, that is for skiing in California. You might not consider it for Vermont

  • “How small is the xs? I have a 2 year old that wears 3t-4t pants”
Asked by Emily the mom from Virginia on 1/9/2016 9:43:50 AM
    • I do not have XS, but have S, which is good for regular 6-9 year old (might be ideal for 7 year old). The inseam is 22 inch. My guess - XS would be good for 3-6 year old. That assumes average size, 50%. My child is extremely tiny, so wears S at 10.

    • I do not think this pant is for a toddler.
I got an XL for a 15 years girl, she is slim, the fit is perfect

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
