Shibby pants for bike riding...

I purchased these soft shell pants to commute on my bike in the rain. They work great. Dry really fast and are very comfortable. I'm 6'2" with a 34 waist and 34 inseam and originally purchased the Large/Long but they were too long so I exchanged for the regular length which are just right. They have a nice stretch to them and the leg openings are not too baggy as to potentially get caught in the chain. I wanted a pair of soft shell pants that breathed better when riding than my standard rain pants, which don't breathe well at all during my commute.
If any cons I would say that it would be nice to have some adjustment for the waist such as a drawstring or adjustable Velcro tabs so I don't have to wear a belt. This isn't a concern wearing them casually but on the bike a belt buckle sometimes digs into my stomach.
I also noticed that after a long ride anything in the pockets is a little damp. I believe this to be from perspiration that soaks through the pocket liners and not from outside elements. Even though they are breathable, the pockets are made out of a material that soaks up some perspiration.
These are a light weight soft shell pant so I suggest wearing a pair of thermal underwear underneath if being worn for outdoor activities in really cold conditions such as snowshoeing. I wear a pair of cycling tights underneath when riding in the rain and the temperature is below 45 degrees. Keeps me nice and warm.
Overall these are working out well on the bike, and will work great in any outdoor situation where a light weight soft shell pant is needed to keep you comfortable.
