Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. NICE!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by thunder thighs 1 from corbett, oregon on Tuesday, October 23, 2012
These are exactly what I wanted for cold weather activities. The brushed polyester lining adds the perfect amount of warmth for me. I tend to run on the hot side. The medium fits like a large 8- small 10. They have some stretch to them which is very nice for mobility. Nice zippered pockets. They have a very durable quality feel to them. The finish sheds moistures quite well, but keep in mind that they are not waterproof.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Marmot, you're breaking my heart!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NH on Tuesday, May 9, 2017
Marmot has been my go-to brand for travel and hiking clothing.
    But, not any more.
This fabric is lightweight and clingy,
The legs are much more narrow than they appear in the picture.
Not leggings tight, but too narrow for my taste.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Too long
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Terrie from Florida on Friday, April 21, 2017
The pants were just too long and you can't hem them. The cord to cinch the ankle cannot cinch enough to shorten the pants. At 5'3", the company needs to remember there are short women who are not a size 2.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Rise Too Short, Run a Bit Small
Reviewed by Clarice from Southeastern USA on Sunday, March 26, 2017
These are great pants, but the rise is very short and I take an average length rise (not petite or tall). However, the length is great, even for taller women (I have a 27" inseam and there was a lot of extra length), the fit is a bit small (I am a solid size six and the smalls were too tight through the buttocks), so I have returned them for the next larger size. These would be a great pant for outdoor activties, good fabric, lots of pockets, flattering cut. color is true to photo
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. very snug fitting
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dancinmtgirl from Virginia on Tuesday, March 14, 2017
The quality is good but the overall fit is very snug. That's just not my style. It might be yours. I don't think a larger fit would have looked right so I just sent them back.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
