5.0 out of 5 stars. Cute, comfortable & practical

I love this jacket. I bought it to wear under my backpack, so the smooth powerstretch in the back and shoulders, yet quilted front work perfectly for my purpose. The thumbholes keep the sleeves in place and add warmth to my hands/wrists and the quality of workmanship is evident.
Sizing is pretty easy because it's a stretchy jacket. One note--the sizing does run a tiny bit big, so if you are on the cusp between sizes and want a "fitted" jacket, order the smaller size.

I ordered two of these; the teal and the black/orange. The black/orange went back; I felt I looked like a pumpkin The teal is beautiful, and it has become a favorite of mine. Very slimming, very cozy, very cool.

worn a few times already - to the gym as outerwear and out-and-about in the community running errands. kept me warm in 30 degree weather with light flurries, snug fit which i like - purchased XS (34B 5' 135lb, athletic build).
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. So warm it's almost magical

I bought this to use as a mid weight layer, and now I wear it all the time. It's takes the microscopic amount of body heat I produce and reflects it back to me ten fold. I'm 6 ft tall, 155 lbs and the large fits perfectly. Thanks to the thumb holes the sleeves are long enough. I'm in love with this jacket.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
