It was way too wide everywhere. Worse was the sizing in the waist area. The cut is straight from the hips up.Her fully open hand got in between the skin and top of jeans. She said it is not a boyfriend jeans.

The patching under the slight rip is a nice touch and keeps you from catching toes as you pull the jeans on (and gradually enlarging the rip until the leg falls off). Launders well and easily.

I am an 8- ordered the 28- and they are well made...overall a nice quality jean. They do have some distressing (if that isn't your taste take note) but they fit well and stretch with you. Washed up nicely so that's a bonus!
