I figured I would transfer her SPD pedals from her mountain bike to her road bike to allow her to use these shoes for riding the bike she actually rides, and to allow her to walk around a bit if need be , during a ride. I have to men's equivalent to these shoes and knew they would be a good choice. Full discloser: these white shoes look a lot better than her old purple road shoes from decades ago, so an updated look doesn't hurt!
