I love that they're nubuck and not suede, and they have a grippy sole - cute shoes often have slick soles, which I hate. I'll probably just wear a thin liner and not a sock with these - you could wear barefoot but that can shorten the life of your shoe. I love that they do have a little bit of a heel but not a huge heel, and they're pretty comfortable so far for walking around in the house, at least. They'll be great for work and even going out.

They are well made and really comfortable. They're also versatile. I've worn them with a pair of jeans of a similar color and also with dressier pants. They could be worn with a tailored skirt outfit as well. Love them!

I paired the shoes with leggings bought at STP (Foxcroft Nina stretch velvet pants 16) great look together. I've been shopping with STP for 15 years and understand their sizing and the different brand sizing. sometimes I wear a 16, XL, or 1X, depends on the brand. Just an example RBX and Columbia are very nice, but i have to size up (trim fit) but STP does not carry Plus sizes in this brand. TJMaxx does.

I got the size 9 as I typically wear a 9 or 9 1/2 and I knew that since these are leather they will stretch a little bit with wear. They are very comfortable, well made, and look very sharp! I can wear them with skirts, pants, or dresses and they look great. I've also worn them with tights and barefoot and they look good with both. I'm thinking about getting the taupe too!
