    This is a solid winter jacket. I've been getting by using a heavy peacoat in winter conditions, but decided to finally invest in some cold-weather-specifc outerwear. I'm glad I did. I've worn it here in Seattle with just a polo shirt underneath in 32F weather (25F with wind chill) and was comfortable. I'm close to 6'1" and weigh around 175-180 pounds; and the medium fits me fine. However, if I'd planned to layer (this parka is really warm, so I don't anticipate layering much, if at all), I would've gone a size up. The color is true (I got the navy one) and the materials used are really durable.

    I am a female and I purchased one for myself and my son begged me for it! I also purchased the Member’s Only satin jacket from Sierra and my husband and son fought over those in a good way.

    I am a tall lady and I have to purchase a lot of mens clothing. I also have a tall husband and son. I purchased several of these jackets and when they arrived at our home, my son (15) wanted all of them and he is the hardest to shop for. I did keep one for myself! :)
