2.0 out of 5 stars. Nylon band around ankle restricts footVerified Buyer Reviewed by Donna from CA on Wednesday, November 7, 2018It was impossible for me to get my foot into the shoe because the Nylon band around ankle and the top of the shoe restricts the foot from getting into the shoe. The material does not stretch and it is taught and tight. I loved the look but if you cant wear it; the manufacturer made an error and should NOT try to sell it.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Run 1/2 size smallReviewed by Redgate from Maryland on Friday, November 2, 2018I bought these in black a year ago and loved them so much I bought another pair in the blue surf color. I was surprised by the fit--these new ones are much tighter--so I compared them with last year's and, sure enough, they appear to run 1/2 size smaller. The collar is also much tighter making them difficult to put on. Once on (not easy) they feel fine, although slightly snugger.

3.0 out of 5 stars. A Fight To Put OnReviewed by Karma from CA on Saturday, October 27, 2018Such a great value, but such a struggle to put on. I have another Merrell sock-like style, and there are tabs both in the front and back to use as pull-ons. This style has no front tab, and the back tab is too small to be useful. Great quality, as always, with Merrell, but not worth the fight. Perhaps one needs a very narrow ankle and foot? Being returned.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Soft like house shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by hiker girl from Kentucky on Sunday, October 14, 2018These shoes are very comfortable to wear but difficult to put on. They're great in the comfort department but don't provide a lot of arch support if you are looking for that. Not good for anything very active but okay for running around town.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Ever!Verified Buyer Reviewed by barb from CO on Monday, September 24, 2018I wore my first pair out, better than barefeet. Warning, wear socks or they start stinking but conveniently you can pull the soles out and wash them (which I did weekly). Awesome value.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Lots of cushion and comfortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Karen K from Oregon City on Wednesday, September 5, 2018I liked these mesh moc shoes so much I got a 2nd pair in a different color. They have nice cushiony souls and the mesh is stretchy but feels snug enough to hug your foot. It could be worn as a house slipper it's so comfortable. The souls are very slip resistant for surfaces that might get slippery when wet, like a boat. Thinking back to when my kids were younger and at swim meets, these would have been ideal to wear at a pool.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Good Looking Merrell but beware . . .Reviewed by Coastal Rambler from California on Thursday, August 30, 2018I wear Merrell shoes a lot . . . I always order a size 7 with confidence in their sizing and fit. Everytime.
But, even tho' I want to love this shoe for it's good looking higher top design and looks to be super comfortable as their other moc style shoes, this shoe has a big flaw - impossible to put on! The foot opening was made waaaay too small and there is not enough stretch in the material to accomodate even attempting to slip it over one's foot! And I have normal size 7 feet.
Shame on me - I read about this oddity from another reviewer and thought it wouldn't apply to me (maybe I was sent her return!?). Sheesh. Am returning and am really disappointed in Merrell, as well as Sierra Trading Post for selling a defective, flawed design.
