Very tough shoe, a cross between a full blown leather hiking boot and a trail sneaker.
Takes about 2-3 days to break in. Would buy again -

I was looking for something a bit more stiff and abrasion resistant. Haven't had these out yet as it is still backcountry ski season here, but I do believe they will fit the bill. Size seems accurate.

They remained comfortable for a whole day of Canoecopia, and they appear well built with a good sticky sole. Have worn them on short treks in snow and ice, and have no complaints. I also like the fact that they look more like serious shoes without all of the phony lines and bright painting all over them (but that's just my own personal taste).

Love these they are very comfortable, mind you they take about 3 days to break in but after that, Super comfortable. Glad I purchased them. Will be repurchasing in the future.
