5.0 out of 5 stars. So light yet so supportive!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ben the Runner from All over New Mexico on Tuesday, August 30, 2016Hey All, I've put these shoes though it for a couple of weeks now and they do the job! Super luggie soles for ultra confident foot placement without the weight of a more agressive shoe. They are true to size and didn't have a break in period.
That said they aren't as easy to get on as traditional shoe because of the gater but don't let that slow you down because you make up for that time by not fishing out hitchhikers!
I will buy these shoes again! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Merrell All Out Terra Trail ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Utah on Monday, August 29, 2016I purchased these shoes and received them the day before a 10 miles. I know the importance of breaking in any shoe before hiking in it, but with no time for that, I took a chance and wore them. I found them to be very comfortable throughout my hike.
I was most worried about developing blisters from rubbing or new pressure points, but experienced neither. These shoes are amazing from the word 'Go'. I highly recommend them. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Merrill All Terra TrailVerified Buyer Reviewed by Adam from Colorado on Monday, August 29, 2016These shoes are great. They are true to size and are very comfortable to wear. Wore them on a couple of hiking trails already and they did exactly what they are supposed to.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Almost too comfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from USA on Tuesday, August 16, 2016I am hard on trail shoes, both in the amount of trail running I do, and the fact that I search for good shoes for Obstacle Courses. I have about 15-20 miles on these, and I can't figure out why they are holding together as well as they are. Putting them on, they don't feel super durable. That being said, I have already put them through a slight beating, and I don't see much signs of wear and tear. The built in "gator/sock" is pretty solid and forms to your foot well. The upper breathes well and the traction is very solid. I normally run a 4mm drop, but moving to the 6mm drop in this shoe hasn't slowed me down, or made me feel any less of the ground. I am looking forward to taking these shoes to my next Obstacle Race to see how they perform. I am optimistic that I may have found a shoe that can take a good portion of the beating.
Due to the "bumper" system in all the key spots most shoes break down in OCR, these seem to have some extra protection, and am hoping that design pays off! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Morton's Toe No MoreVerified Buyer Reviewed by Spruce Hill Bob from Berkeley on Tuesday, July 26, 2016On my trail walks in my Mephistos, I'd been coming home with a sore second toe. This is no good, I thought. So I sprang for the best available STP offering. Problem solved. Not only that the stylish bright orange color has been complimented. And a fellow who ID'd himself as having run for 20 years for Nike complimented how well I was walking and asked for the brand. (Not as great a discount as I usually jump for, but the plusses outweigh this minus.)
This review is based on three wearings. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Super LightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cortney from Arizona on Sunday, July 17, 2016I like the sock fit they have. Prevents dirt and rocks getting in shoe. Not really designed for heavy hikes. They fit loose. I love Merrell anything, so I have no complaints. I would buy them again.

3.0 out of 5 stars. LightweightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker from OHio on Wednesday, July 13, 2016Merrell quality! But v.lightweight materials, definitely a summer shoe. Has elastic sock around top, did not like. Merrell looks wide enough but medium is just medium. Gotta quit ordering this brand. Wish were otherqwise

5.0 out of 5 stars. Exactly what I was looking forVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Wisconsin on Tuesday, June 14, 2016I'm stunned I found Merrell's for this price. They're exactly the shoe I needed for my hiking trip on the west coast. Light and breathable but still rugged enough for the trails, and not hideously ugly like 95% of the hiking shoes out there (I got the yellow/gray, which compliments my hiking attire nicely).
