5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by B-Rod from Illinois on Thursday, April 27, 2017This is a nice looking hiking boots that is so light and looks well made. I'm sure it will have high hiking mileage in the coming years. I bought it for our upcoming troop trek in the Appalachian Trail in the summer and I have just began the breaking-in process that is going smoothly so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So far, perfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arkansas on Monday, April 17, 2017I've only worn them for 1 hike and about 5 walks, but they fit perfectly from the start with no discomfort. The major draw for me to these particular boots was the vegan construction and vibram soles (plus the $100 price tag isn't bad).
Very light feeling and bouncy. I feel like I could tackle any terrain with confidence.
I like the stretchiness of the upper shoe and the ability to lace the ankle support or not.
I've always liked Merrells and these may be the best yet. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Merrell QualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by bikerdon from Tennessee on Wednesday, March 29, 2017I bought 2 pair for my wife at the Merrell Outlets a few months ago and became quite jealous. She looks great in the shoes, loves the way they feel, while I get blisters in my hiking boots. So I saw these on STP and ordered them. They look awesome, they are super lightweight and comfortable and the ankle has the lightweight material that cups your ankle so that no debris can enter the boot while you are hiking. As an extra touch of quality, they are waterproof. Looking forward to some epic day hikes in the National Parks. I wear a 10.5, which is what I ordered, and they are true to size.

4.0 out of 5 stars. a little funky but functionalReviewed by Anonymous from portlandia on Tuesday, March 14, 2017they were very tight and uncomfortable until 8_9 hours of wear time around the house and neighborhood. then loosened up in cage area. goretex is legit and pretty light weight, should be for the almost plastic look to them. doubt they last more then 1-2 seasons of use. time will tell but for 75 for goretex. the laces are [...] though and don't stay tied
